Stoner, 26, Spooner, is coming up Friday, May 9.
The case has been going on since August, when 2-year-old Emmaline Manning, the daughter of Stoner's fiancee, was treated in a Minneapolis hospital for severe brain trauma. According to the complaint, Stoner said the child had fallen down a flight of stairs at their house while he was home alone with her. Other parts of the complaint told of differing stories in the incident. Two days later, Stoner went into custody for alleged child abuse. | | The members of the Shell Lake Police Department are driving their first new official vehicle since 1976. According to Chief Clint Stariha, “We’ve been buying used state patrol vehicles all this time, usually cars with 80,000 miles already on them. In bad weather, be it snow or mud, our officers had to use their own trucks when they were called out. Now we’ve got a great 4-wheel drive Dodge Durango and it’s a 2008 model. We picked blue because it represented the waters of Shell Lake and all the equipment is new including the radio, the cages and the control panel that runs the lights and siren. The only think recycled from the old vehicle is the light bar on top. |
